  1. DEAN, HOW YA’LL DOING. BACK IN THE 80’s WE SHARED SOME BIRD CALLS TOGETHER ON “YOU CAN BE A STAR”. LISTEN, I WAS WONDERING ABOUT SOME SONGS I’VE WRITTEN,MELODY, NO MUSIC THO’,I WAS WONDERING IF YOU’D LIKE TO GET TOGETHER ON IT, IF NOT, WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THEM, (com’on, let’s be nice now). ALSO, WHEN YOU TALK TO GEORGE STRAIT, TELL HIM I HOPE HE BOUGHT THE PROPERTY NEXT TO HIM THAT MY EX, DORIS DEWITT AND I DONATED TO THE BREAST CANCER SOCIETY. I STILL HAVE THE “TEE” FROM YOU CAN BE A STAR. — TOM “O”

  2. It’s about time. When I play Dean’s songs the audience always loves them. But just like with most songwriters, they don’t really know the man behind the music and words. I tell them about him when I play those songs…how I was fortunate enough to spend just a little bit of time around this man and what a talent he is, besides being a genuinely nice person. And it was all because of my late friend Larry Butler who introduced me to Dean, and his music. Both music icons. So I’m looking forward to a film about Dean’s life and music.

  3. Dean love your music ….looking for a CD copy of “birds of a different feather”. Can’t find it only online …would love a physical copy

  4. My one wish before I die to to have Dean record all hit songs with just his guitar (as a video and a disks)like he did in Fort Worth and other small venues. He is such a talent and I just love to hear his stories. Without doubt, his solo version of “A Lot of Things Different” is heartbreaking
